The battery fits perfectly into the tube and has been in use for two days now. The only thing is that fitting the adapter to attach it to the motor is a bit fiddly, as there’s no room up there near the cable.

Fits and works perfectly. Installation is easy with a little manual dexterity.
However, a first discharge / charge with the modelling charger only resulted in a capacity of approx. 1800 mAh. But that is enough.

Installing the new batteries was no problem, although the fastening eyelet (original Velux battery) was missing. The radio control did not have to be re-learnt. The batteries have slightly less capacity, but you don't notice it. If they last another 18 years - like the originals - I would be very satisfied:)
