After generally negative experiences with notebook batteries, I purchased a new battery for a MacBook from 2010 from Subtel. The battery came perfectly packaged with the necessary tools (two screwdrivers, should be mentioned as info to the article :-)) and could thus be replaced wonderfully. The battery works perfectly, has slightly more capacity than the old one and actually lasts for hours (no exact measurement so far).
